This system controls and transforms the input current, if necessary, to 24 VDC, which is the voltage at which all J4C series actuator motors are powered.
S-20, S-35, S-55, S-85, S-140 and S-300 support 24 VAC/VDC power up to 240 VAC / VDC.
B-20, B-35, B-55, B-85, B-140 and B-300 support 12 VAC/VDC power only.

Why is a brushless motor better?
Since there are no brushes rubbing against anything, no energy is lost due to friction. That means brushless motors are more energy efficient than brushed ones.
This type of brushless motor allows us to guarantee the actuators for 60,000 operations or 3 years from the date of shipment.
What is the difference between a brushless motor and a normal motor?
In short, brushless motors are better than brushed units. Users can take advantage of reduced maintenance, improved efficiency, and reduced heat and noise. Brushless motors are synchronous units with one or more permanent magnets. Power tools with brushless motors are now considered high-end products.
VISUAL OPERATION CONTROL
Constantly illuminated external LED indicates normal operation of the actuator. There are different LED flash color frequencies that indicate the status of the actuator.
Electronic TORQUE LIMITER
To prevent damage to the unit or valve, the actuators have an electronic torque control system that stops the operation of the actuator when it detects a motor power consumption greater than permitted.
The system stops the actuator and releases pressure on the gears to facilitate activation of the emergency manual control (MO) and, at the same time, the external LED emits a frequency of colored flashes, indicating that the actuator has stopped due to excessive of torque.

Placing the lever in MANUAL automatically disconnects the electrical system from the gear train and the valve can be operated manually. If after doing this, the lever is not returned to the AUTO position and a maneuver signal is sent to open or close the valve, the actuator will not move and the LED will flash frequently indicating that the actuator is in manual position .
OR LOW TIME
The DUTY is the total maneuver time before starting the new maneuver, that is, the time in motion plus the time the actuator must be stopped. It is generally measured in %. It is important to know the total time of the maneuver to calculate the valve opening and closing process. Examples:
auxiliary micro switches
The actuator is equipped with 4 microswitches: 2 for stopping the motor and 2 voltage-free auxiliary switches for transmitting the open or closed position signal (on-off).
A thermostatically controlled 3.5W heater automatically maintains the interior temperature above 68°F (20°C) to prevent damage from condensation. Never disconnect the power at the end of the maneuver as we will disconnect the ATC.
